Smaller number =x/5
Given
Sum of two numbers=16
x+x/5=16
(5x+x)/5=16
6x/5=16
x=(16×5)/6
x=40/3
Therefore
Greater number =x=40/3
Smaller number =x/5=40/(3×5)=8/3
Smaller number =x/5
Given
