Step-by-step explanation:

distance is same.

train 1:

speed =56kmph

t=9minutes =9/60 hrs =3/20 hrs

distance = speed ×time = 56×3/20=8.4 kms

train 2:

t = 12 mins = 12/60=1/5hrs

distance = 8.4 kms

speed = distance/time = 8.4/(1/5) = 42 kmph
