If there adjacent sides are equal

We know that all sides of a rhombus are equal. So if by distance formula all the sides come to be numerically equal. Then we can say that the quad is a rhombus.
This criteria is sufficient for proving a rhombus but for a square we have to also show that the diagonals are equal
