In asexual reproduction, genetic material comes from same parent, creating a duplicate of a single parent. But in sexual, complex mixture of genetic material comes from both parents, which causes a great variation.

This is because in sexually reproducing organism crossing over takes place .ie - offspring produced is not similar 2 any parent it has charecters of both parents important by view of evolution...
