It is because Sexual reproduction is the only type of reproduction offers some variation as it involves more than one parent.As variations are always necessary,as it will lead to better chances of survival and also gives selective advantages (natural selection).Therefore the offsprings produced by sexual reproduction have better chances of survival.

Because in sexual reproduction there are many chances of variation in the offspring which makes it able or comfortable with the changes in the environment.
