Respected Sir
I am a Teacher of S B MILLS Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Marg, Karampura and I would to draw your kind attention towards the increase in drowning tragedies among school children.
We often hear about the drowning tragedies of School children and in many cases they even loss their lives. And this is all happen because they don't know how to swim and therefore they aren't able to save themselves. Therefore it is necessary to learn them to swim, so that they can save themselves and save others too.
Since every child is not able to afford the swimming classes therefore I request you to make swimming as a compulsory subject in all the middle and senior secondary schools. So that Children can learn to swim. This will be beneficial in two ways, first they can save their lives and other too and secondly we may find some good swimmer who can participate in the National Games or above levels games and represent India.
Please look into the matter sir. It will be a good step towards development of children.
