I would convince my friends by saying that.
1) We should remember always to switch off light and fans as we r wasting energy but in many parts of India the light is not there and mostly the children cannot study due to not a proper electricity. We should save electricity.
2)The second I would say them if we make the tap running the water will be destroyed as the water is very much essential in our life. We can quench our thirst only by water.
Water is a valuable resource.
And the most important part is there is only 0.0001% of water which is fresh for drinking.
In the dry areas like rajasthan the people didn't get water and we get water so we should not waste it.
