(1) who is the critic here? (2) what does the poet want to reveal through the second last line ? (3) what does the word 'confessed' means ?

The frog is the critic here.Though he does not know much about music he still acts like a great musician ‍. Specify the second last line please. In this case the word confessed means to acknowledge something reluctantly especially when you feel slightly embarrassed or ashamed . Synonyms of confessed: admit, acccept ,acknowledge

1) The frog is referred to as the critic. The Nightingale is so gullible and modest that that cruel frog seems her like a critic.
2) The poet want to reveal from this statement that nightingale feels that her song is not divine, but she has confidence on her song that it was her own song and has originality.
3) Confessed here means that the Nightingale accepted when the frog critisized her song.
