ओम का नियम(Ohm’s law) – यदि भौतिक अवस्थायें जैसे की ताप, लंबाई इत्यादि स्थिर हो, तब किसी विधुत परिपथ में प्रतिरोध के सिरों पर उत्पन्न विभवान्तर(वोल्टेज) उस प्रतिरोध में प्रवाहित होने वाली धारा(flow of current) के समानुपाती होता है।यानि की V ∝ Iइसको V=IR भी लिख सकते है।
