Oil and water do not mix. why?

Even when you mix oil and watertogether they still separate. The oilalways floats to the top because it is less dense than water. Oil and waterdon't mix because water molecules are more attracted to each other than tooil molecules. Detergent molecules are attracted to both water and oil.

Oil and Water do not mix because Its a hetrogenous mixture and it have less density than water.
