Answer:

First type oil cost-3rupee/per litre

second type oil cost-2 rupee/per litre

third type oilcost-let it be (x)per litre

Explanation:

ratio of three oils = 1:2:3

it will be 1×3:2×2:3×x

3:4:3x

third oil cost if the cost of mixture=2.5

3+4+3x=2.5

7+3x=2.5

3x=2.5- 7

3x=5.5

x=5.5÷3

x=1.83(approximately)

Given :

Rate of oil - 3 RS per litre and 2 RS per litres respectively.

These two types of oil are mixed with third type of oil in the ratio 1:2;3

price of mixture is 2.5 RS per litre.

Find out :

Price of the third type of oil.

solution :

Let price of third type of oil is x rs

proce of first type of oil = 1 x 3

= 3 RS

price of second type of oil = 2 x 2

= 4 rs

price of third type of oil = 3 x X

= 3x

price of mixture = 2.5 RS

3 + 4 ,+ x = 25

7+ 3x = 2.5

3x = 2.5 -7

3 x =

x = 8/3
