November 11th is Origami Day! To celebrate the ancient art of paper folding, we are sharing some fun facts about origami, as well as some pieces created using our colored paper.
Origami artist Ira Fine used our Bright Paper and Pastel Paper packs to create some of the traditional origami pieces we know and love (like the crane and frog) as well as intricately folded geometric shapes that are really blowing our minds! Check out more of his amazing work here

When a forest was burnt, there was the added danger of the flames spreading and burning valuable timber. Shifting cultivation also made it harder for the government to calculate taxes. Therefore, the government decided to ban shifting cultivation.
