Nuclear pores (Callan an Tomlin, 1950) are some perforations which are currently present in the nuclear envelope. Their number and size can widely change or vary in different organisms and their cells too.
A nuclear pore may be a simple channel or have extra structures like diaphragm (muscular wall with the function of supporting lungs), septum (heart separating wall), bleb, plug of nucleoplasmin or annuli (or microcylinders).
Pore having extra structures is called annulated pore or pore complex.

Functions: The Nuclear pores have a clear regulating passage of substances to the inside and outside the nucleus, some of them are stated as follows, enzymes, RNA (Ribo Nucleic acid), ribosome units, proteins.
