Ok then tell me why the light are not able to cross the black holes don't give the reason that it because of gravity if you want to give the answer of gravity and then explain it fully that while the light rays are bends due to the Gravity.. and how does scientist calculate the speed of light...

Answer:

A black hole itself does not give off any light. That is why it is called black. However, matter that is near a black hole can give off light in response to the black hole's gravity. A black hole is a region of space where gravity is so strong that nothing can escape, not even light.

Answer:

The reason nothing can escape a black hole is because within the event horizon, space is curved to the point where all directions are actually pointing inside. The escape velocity from within a black hole's event horizon is faster than the speed of light, hence light cannot go at that speed and thus cannot escape.
