Today was my sweet sixteen! It was an exciting day but my parents did not show up! Today was supposed to be one of the most wonderful days of my life but my parents did not show up. Everyone was asking where they were and i was blank faced. Eventually, everyone gave up on the topic and enjoyed the party. It was great but I wish my parents could have been there.

Dear diary,

I am very upset today because today is my 16th birthday and my mom who had given me birth is not with me and my father who holds my fingers and taught me to walk is not with me. Both of them are out of station. I am feeling very bad today. My parents who always supported me is not here on my birthday. Without them l can't do anything. For me they are my everything they are my God. I wish Mom and Dad could be with me. Today my friends and teachers are here but l can't enjoy because l am missing my parents. I still remember that day when l was 10 years and l was crying my mom kept me in their lab. When l had got bad marks in exam l had given up but it was only my father who protested against my giving up and teach me not to give up in any situation of life. So, today l will celebrate my birthday well and try to enjoy because my parents said me to celebrate birthday well and adjust all situation. Face all the problems in life so today l promise both of you that l will success in my life by doing hard and smart work. Thank you so much mom and dad for always supporting me , inspiring me, encouraging me and teaching me good things and yes always giving your blessings to me. Thanks a lot. Today l will celebrate my birthday well with enjoying my friends and welcoming all.
