okay..so basically in proper English grammar is flying an aeroplane or driving an aeroplane technically correct?​

Flying an aeroplane is technically correct....but yes you can say a pilot "drives" a plane....but that is not normal usage so flying it is ! ...Hope this helps thank you :)
