Answer:

Explanation:

The Fascist with their armies were approaching very fast.Wars bring destruction to the life of common civilians.Wars are an innate but obsolete part in human's nature.War is the ultimate horror that man inflicts upon man.We find in the story that the old man is a bachelor .He has no family except his cat, a goat and four pairs of pigeons. While leaving them alone in his native town where he used to live before in the mouth of destruction the old man was waiting in the final bridge between life and death. He does this sacrificial part only to his goat rather than cat who is clever enough to care for itself . The pigeons can fly away if they are unlocked from a cage but the goat is as innocent as that of the old man. So this is how the love and care that the old man has on the goat are being taken away by cruel and hard destruction taking place all around.
