Yes!! old people may not be able to walk fast because when older they get, the less flexible they are suppose of a rubber band that has been left out in the elements. It is no longer stretchy.
In the age of 79 or more it comes a similar breakdown of soft tissue and bone. They are forced to move more slowly one minor injury can lay for months. pain is a great ditterent to moving.
so, they spend many hours sitting in one comfortable chairs. This is of course, causes our anterior muscles [ front thigh muscles and tummy muscles] to shorten.
When they stand they do not stretch completely, causing to lean forward. over time this affects their spine and other supporting muscles.
