Respected Sir/Mam,

Sub: To express my views regarding the changes in our old values

We know that our country is known for its cultural diversity and prosperity. The citizens have immense respect over our culture and traditions which unites everyone together.

But change is a law of nature. We may get influenced by other cultures that we get to know, due to the technology where we get a chance to interact with people from different parts of the world. We have incorporated many of those changes and have modified our values.

Some may have been beneficial, some not. We are no more restricted or sticking on to our own values. Girls are no more restricted to their homes. They are now getting much better opportunities than men and are now empowered. But as they spend lots of time at the workplace, the mothers get very less time to take care of their children. The younger generation remains unaware about our values which further widen the gap.

Now a days, the younger generation get married to someone of their own choice, unlike the previous generation. They enjoy freedom of choice. But, the increasing cases of divorces are a matter of concern as our culture and values are getting westernised.

These are a few reasons that justify why I think that our old values are changing and the new ones have yet to prove its worth. So, parents should try to make their kids understand their moral values and to have a sense of culture. Changes are good, but we should never go unaware of our values.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,
