However, it is discovered in 2003 that a planet exists in a star cluster named as M4 in the constellation of Sagittarius, which is assumed to be 13 billion years old, more than twice the age of earth and it is located at a distance of 5600 light years from earth.

Till now, it is considered as the oldest and first planet that might have formed after the Big Bang.
