Youngest Prime Minister of India was Sri Rajiv Gandhi. He was sworn in 1984. He was 40 years old at that time. He belonged to Indian National Congress. He was the son of Mrs Indira Gandhi.
Oldest Prime Minister was Sri Morarji Desai. He was 81 years old. He became the PM in 1977 after Janata Party came into power. It was after the emergency period.
