Oligohydramnios nursing diagnosis:

Oligohydramnios refers to the condition in which the amniotic liquid level in the pregnant lady is below the required level for the development of the baby.

The nursing diagnosis for this condition is as follows:

• As the amniotic liquid level is low, the nurse must always check for risk of fetal compromise related to the condition.

• Due to lack of required amount of liquid, the uterus membrane can get ruptured before the time of delivery and may lead to pre-matured birth or abortion. Hence the nurse must always keep a track about the rupturing of the uterus membrane.

Infective copping and anxiety.
