Answer:

x= -3

y= 2

there are two equations so

  1. multiply the first equation with one and the second equation with minus one
  2. after getting the products find the values + 7 Y and minus 7 y get cancelled
  3. and we are left with 2 X is equals to minus 6 which gives us the value of x which is -3
  4. now having the value of x we can take any equations 1 or 2 and find the value of y by putting in the value of x given as I have taken the first equation to find the value of Y
  5. the last step is we just have to put the value of x as I have put 4 - 3 + 7 Y is equals to 2 which gives us the answer of why after after solving
  6. y=2
