om is twice as old as Tom .three years ago ,he was three times as old as Tom .how is on now?

Let Tom's age be x years.

Om's age = 2 x years.

3 years ago,

Tom's age = (x-3) years

Om's age = ( 2 x - 3 ) years

A/Q, 3(x-3) = 2 x - 3

⇒ 3 x - 9 = 2 x - 3

so

x = 6

Om's age = 6 x 2 = 12 years.
