1) To find out between chalk and salt we can dissolve them in water and do electrolysis in which the NaCl particles would separate. Followed by heating in which all the water will evaporate. Then the chalk will b left out
2) To separate a mixture of water, sand, salt and iron.. We bring a magnet near the solution where the iron gets attracted by magnet. Now water, salt and sand are left out. We can use the electrolysis process to take out sand and then evaporate the water.. Now only the sand is left out.
