1) When ferrous sulphate is heated colour changes from light green to reddish brown. On further heating, ferrous sulphate decomposes to form ferric oxide (Fe2O3), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and sulphur trioxide (SO3)

2)In the noon because the sun is overhead, there is least amount of scattering and hence appears white. When it is overhead, it has lesser air to travel through and scattering results from dust and other particles which will be reduced if the distance to be traveled in air is reduced.
