On a 60km straight road, a bus travels the first 30km with a uniform speed of 30km/hr. How fast must the bus travel the next 30km so as to have an average speed of 40km/hr for the entire trip?

Want average speed is=40 km/h

total runup= 60 km

Now remaing distance= 60-30= 30km

time remaing time=30 minutes

So current speed is 60 Km/ h

Increasing speed is 60-30=30 km/ h
