Complete question :- On a certain day six passengers from cities - Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Kappa, and Lambda - boarded a train starting from town Theta and with the final stop at city Meritland.

The following facts are known about these six

passengers :-

1. The persons from Delta and Alpha are less than 36 years of age.
2. Zane, the youngest of all is a scientist.
3. The oldest person is from Gamma and his/her profession is the same as that of the person who got down at station X.
4. The persons from Beta, Alpha, Lambda, and Kappa got down at four different stations. The eldest among these four got down at station Y and the youngest at station Z. The person who got down at Meritland is older than the person who got down at station X.
5. The pilot from Beta is older than the pilot from Alpha.
6. While arranging the managers in increasing order of age it was observed that the middle person is as old as the pilot from Alpha .
7. Yahu, who got down at station X is less than 34 years old.
8. The manager from Delta is four years older than the 31 years old scientist who is not from Kappa.

Using all given information about six passengers we get :-

• Zane is youngest among all , who is a scientist . He belongs to station Lambda and departure at station Z .
• Yahu between the age of 31 to 34, is a manager . He belongs to station Kappa and departure at station X .
• One who belongs to station Delta is a Manager and 35 years old.
• One who belongs to station Alpha is a Pilot and 35 years old.
• One who belongs to station Beta is a Pilot and he is more than 35 years old.
• One who belongs to station Gamma is a Manager and he is more than 35 years old.

Therefore, we can conclude that,

• passengers who belongs to station Gamma and Beta are oldest as they both have age more than 35 years.
