On a certain sum the interest paid after 3 yrs is rupess 450 at 5% rate of interest per annum. Find the sum.

simple interest = p×r×t/100

S.I. = 450×5×3/100

S.I = 67.5 rupee

S.I. = 450 + 67.5

S.I = 382.5 rupee
