the points (0,1) (1,3) (2,5). are collinear and lie on y = 2x + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

points (0,1) (1,3) (2,5).  will be collinear

if they are on same line

means they will have same slope

Slope between (0,1) (1,3)

= (3 - 1)/(1 - 0)

= 2

Slope between (0,1) (2,5)

= (5 - 1)/(2 - 0)

= 2

Slope between(1,3) (2,5)

= (5 - 3)/(2 - 1)

= 2

Same slope Hence  the points (0,1) (1,3) (2,5). are  collinear

y = 2x + c

1 = 0 + c

=> c = 1

y = 2x + 1  is the equation of line
