You might know that India is a geographically diverse country and many regions have their own variety of soil, I can't make map so I will type so you can understand.

In regions like Ladakh and Sikkim you will found soil and mountains of granites and can be identified by its red-brownish color and soil is not so fertile out there

In the regions of Northern plains mostly found Allvalial soil that is very fertile and crops grow perfectly out here .

in regions like Assam , meghalya and other North Eastern regions, there are mostly Black soil or regur soil that's why many are Sipping chai at their home

in Deccan pleateu there are mostly red soil of the pleateu that are pretty much fertile and can be identified by their reddish colour and you can see some red houses in that region

in coastal plains, there are clayey-sandy soil and very good for agriculture, the soil's colour is like sand and can be very soft
