1st way to solve=>

Let total strength =x

Absent =(2/15) x

Present =x-(2/15)x

=(15x-2x)15

=13x/15

According to the question present students
=1950

So

1950=13x/15

X=1950 * 15 /13

X=2250

Total strength =2250

2nd way and shortcut

Let total strength = denominator of fraction

Total strength =15

And absent = numerator of fraction

Absent =2

So present =15-2=13

According to question present students =1950

So

1 unit assumed =1950/13

=150

Total strength =150x15=2250
