Area of terrace = 6m × 5m = 30m^2

height of rain water = 15cm = 0.15m

Volume of water = area × height = 30×0.15 = 4.5 m^3

1m^3 = 1000l

4.5m^3 = 4.5×1000 = 4500l

So water collected on terrace is 4.5m^3 or 4500 litres

Length of terrace = 6m

Breadth of terrace = 5m

Height of water on the terrace = 15cm = 0.15 m

Amount of water collected

=length × breadth × height

= 6 × 5 × 0.15

= 4.5 m^3

= 4500 dm^3

= 4500 litres

So, 4500 litres of water is collected on the roof.
