let the no of balloons predicted to be sold be x percentage of balloons sold=65%

no of balloons sold=52

therefore 65% of x=52

65/100*x=52

65x=52*100

65x-5200

x=5200/65

x=80

the shopkeeper predicted 80 balloons would be sold
