a body, falls from a height of 10m in 1 second

and 90m in 3 seconds

so we need to find acceleration, which can b found out using,

h=ut+1/2*g*t^2               (g=acceleration)

10=0*1+1/2*g*1^2            (u=0, since body is DROPPED)

10=1/2g

g=20m/s^2

acceleration =20m/s^2

to verify,

we use the formula for 90m and 3 seconds

90=0+1/2*g*3^2

90=9/2g

g=20m/s^2

hence correct option is option (a)
