length of the rectangular sheet = 1.5m => 150cm
breadth of the rectangular sheet = 75cm
perimeter of a rectangle= 2(L+B)
I.e. =2(150+75)cm
=2 x 225 cm
=450 cm
. ˙ . the perimeter of the sheet is 450 cm.
since the length of stamps are 5cm and they are supposed to be pasted along rhe perimeter
. ˙ . the no. of stamps = 450÷ 5
I.e, = 9
. ˙ . 9 stamps were used
