On a square track of edge lenght 100m an athlete start from one corner nd reaches diagonally opposite corner if athlete reaches back to same corner after running once on track find distance nd displacement

The distance will be equal to length of two sides which he covered i.e. = 100 m + 100m
=> 200 m
Displacement = LENGTH OF DIAGONAL
=√(100 square + 100 square)
= √ (10000+10000)
=√20000
=> √20000 m
