The answer is given below :

FORMULA :

The conversion formula is

c/5 = (f - 32)/9,
where c is temperature in Celcius scale and f is temperature in Fahrenheit scale.

SOLUTION :

Given, c = - 16 °C

Putting c = - 16 °C in the above formula, we get

(- 16)/5 = (f - 32)/9

⇒ (- 16) × 9 × 1/5 = f - 32

⇒ -144/5 = f - 32

⇒ f = 32 - 144/5

⇒ f = (160 - 144)/5

⇒ f = 16/5

⇒ f = 3.2

Thus, f = 3.2 °F

Therefore, (-16 °C) in Celsius scale is 3.2 °F in Fahrenheit scale.

Given : Temperature in °Celcius = -16°C

To Do: Convert into ° Fahrenheit

Solution :

Formula to be used :

 \frac{c}{5}  =  f -  \frac{32}{9}
Putting c = -16°

(- 16)/5 = (f - 32)/9

⇒ (- 16) × 9 × 1/5 = f - 32

⇒ -144/5 = f - 32

⇒ f = 32 - 144/5

⇒ f = (160 - 144)/5

⇒ f = 16/5

⇒ f = 3.2

#Hence the required value of -16°C into °F = 3.2°F .
