on a winter day the temperature at a place in Himachal Pradesh was - 60°C. convert it in degree fahrenheit by using the formula(F/5=F-5/9

Formula for converting °C into °F:

F = \frac{9}{5} C + 32 \\

Put 60 in place of C:

F = \frac{9}{5} \times 60 + 32 \\ \\ = > 9 \times 12 + 32 \\ \\ = >108 + 32 \\ \\ = > 140°F
