on adding excess salt solution if it shows no change in solubility then the solution is said to be saturated which means that it cannot accommodate any more solute in it and if we keep on adding salute to it it will not be dissolved that is there will be no change in its solubility it will be left unchanged a saturated solution is a one which cannot dissolve any more solute to it
