Requirement of water per day by each person in a village- 150litres

Requirement of water for 2 days by each person in a village- 150*2litres = 300 litres

Volume of water tank= 25m*16m*6m= 2400 m^{3} =2400*1000= 24,00,000litres     [1 m^{3} =1000litres]

The population= Volume of water tank/ Requirement of water for 2 days by each person in a village= 24,00,000litres/300litres= 8000ppl Ans.
