  • Chotanagpur Industrial Region , extends to Jharkhand and north Orissa nd west Bengal and is known for the heavy metal industries. Presence of damodar valley and coal and ore deposits,
  • Vishakhapatnam-Guntur Industrial Region, deposits of reich reserves of minerals and agriculture area and coals fields to provide energy for sugar textile, jute , paper and fertilizer etc.
  • Gurgaon-Delhi-Meerut Industrial Region, having industries of light and market-oriented such as electronics, light engineering and electrical goods are major industries of this region.
  • Kollam-Thiruvananthapuram Industrial Region,  agriculture and hydropower provide an industrial base to this region some includes the cotton textile, sugar, rubber, matchbox, glass, chemical fertilizer.
