Given:

The radius of the bend is r

The velocity be v

The angle of the inwards be Ф

To find:

Relation between the velocity v and Ф.

Solution:

Force component be

R.cosФ=m.g

R.sinФ=m.v²/r

Dividing both the above quantities

tanФ=v²/rg

Ф=tan⁻¹(v²/rg)

The relation between them is tan⁻¹(v²/rg)
