⊙ so, using the formula

$2 \: \pi \: r = c$

$2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 88$

$r = \frac{88 \times 7}{44} = 14cm$

so, radius = 14 cm

$d = 2 \times r = 2 \times 14 = 28cm$


Area = pi r^2 = 22*28=616cm ^2

Calculation - Perimeter of circle = 2πr

thus,

2πr = 88

2 × 22/7 × r = 88

2r = 88 × 7/22

2r = 28
