As per the guidelines issued by the Goods and Services Tax body, CGST and SGST are equally levied on a transaction.

So CGST=SGST

The CGST here is 14%

and GST slab will be 14+14=28%

CGST is same or equal to SGST

Therefore SGST=CGST=14%

GST = 2 × SGST

=2 × 14%

=28%
