On children's day, sweets were distributed equally among 550 students in a school. But on that day 25 children were absent. Thus, each child got 5 extra sweets. How many sweets did each child get?

Total no.of sweets (550+25)*5

=575*5

=2875 sweets

No.of children absent = 25

No.of sweets they should get in all =25*5=125

No.of sweets that must be distributed to each (including absentee) = 2875\550

= 5

No.of sweets each get extra = 5

No.of sweets they get in child got = 5+5 =10

Thus each child get 10 sweets
