The total no. of children = 540
The total no. of children absent = 120
Therefore,
The no. of children present = 540-120
= 420
The no. of sweets each child got = 4
Therefore,
The total no. of sweets = 420×4
= 1680

Answer:

There were total 2100 sweets.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,On childrens day sweets were distributed equally among 540 children.

So,total number of childrens = 540.

Now it also given that on that day 120 children were absent.

So,that day total number of childrens = (540 - 120) = 420

Again given, each child got 4 more sweets

Therefore each children got total (1+4) = 5 sweets.

So,there were total number of sweets

 = (420 \times 5) \\ = 2100
