Answer:

no they are not consistent as a1,a2 =b1,b2 is not equal to c1,c2 which is formula for parallel equation which is inconsistent

Answer:

6x - 3y - 18 = 0

2x - y - 4 = 0

On comparing Ratios:-

a₁ / a₂ = 6/2 = 3

b₁ / b₂ = -3/-1 = 3

c₁ / c₂ = -18/-4 = 9/4

As a₁ / a₂ = b₁ / b₂ ≠ c₁ / c₂

Lines are parallel

Therefore no solution

Therefore it is not consistent.
