a₂ = 3 , b₂ = 4 and c₂ = -20
a₁/a₂ = 1/3
b₁/b₂ = -2/4 = -1/2
c₁/c₂ = 0/-20
here it is clear that, a₁/a₂ ≠ b₁/b₂ so pair of equations has only one solution. Therefore the pair of equations is consistent.
