On decreasing the temperature the resistance of metallic wire decrease or not​

This phenomenon is called positive temperature coefficient(ptc) which is hold by most of the conductors hence as temperature increases the resistance of metallic wires increases. But some times as temperature increase resistance decreases known as -ve temperature coefficient ntc.
